Welcome to the creation zone!

Choosing a painting to have in your home is a very personal thing; what one person loves, another hates! The images you choose to put on a wall in your home should be more than decoration – they need to add something.

I hope you’ll find something that will please and inspire you with a wide range of artwork in my Gallery. There is plenty to choose from whether it’s the energy and movement of large oil colours or a smaller more gentle piece in pastel.

Choose a painting that resonates with you and complements your home. A good picture will not only provide a focal point , but will give you pleasure as you discover new aspects every time you look at it.

You’ll see two options below. The Studio Edit is my work in progress and the Gallery are finished works. Please explore …

I had very much admired a painting Angela had done and, awhile later, she gave me one she had painted specifically for me. It is full of moody blues, purples, greens, reds and golds, in I what I see, as a stormy dark sunset promising a vibrant thunderstorm. I can’t tell you how much it suits me and how much I love it!

She can paint anything from figurative portraits and wind swept flamingoes to striking abstracts, all of which are filled with colour, life and interest giving you so much to think about and enjoy.

We had Angela over to meet us and get to know our space to get a feel for what we were about and what would suit our interior. We were really happy to let Angela take the lead and have creative control in creating something that would work for us. We’re so happy with finished result and our painting is such an interesting talking point for when we have friends and family over. Thanks for working with us Angela!

The artist

I’ve been painting for many years and have two studios – one in the UK and one in France. My work tends to be influenced by where I am painting. The light in the South of France, the natural colours of the countryside and the ambience all have an effect on my mood and this mood is reflected in my painting. In England my inspiration comes from observing local people and the changing seasons.
